Frequently Asked Questions

There are many different types of swimming pool, namely: indoor or outdoor pools; above ground or inground pools; large recreational swimming pools or smaller plunge pools; salt water pools or chlorinated; and lap pools, which generate a current to swim against, for exercise.

First, use a test kit to test water for chlorine, stabiliser and pH level. Add a pool shock product to boost any residual chlorine in the water (follow directions carefully). Use a pool brush to scrub surfaces if covered in algae. Alternatively, contact us for Pool Cleaning Services.

The cost of constructing a swimming pool can vary drastically, depending on structure, size, heating, finishes and numerous other factors. If you’d like an idea of how much it costs to build a swimming pool, then call us today for a consultation with one of our experts.

Porcelain and ceramic tiles are traditionally the most popular choice for swimming pools, although we have seen glass and sealed stone used to stunning effect.

You should backwash your sand filter whenever it reaches 8-10 PSI over the normal operating level or if the pool water starts to get cloudy. Then, at least twice a year, chemically clean the sand filter while backwashing it, to remove dirt and debris. Alternatively, contact us for Pool Maintenance Services.
